Where should I even begin? Macie is so very precious and a absolute gem of a dog. She came to us with little hope or life left in her body. She was suffering from advanced heartworm disease. Our vet did blood work to check organ functions and told us despite her condition there was hope so we ran with it, and boy am I happy we did. What a deserving girl Macie is! After weeks of meds and pulling fluid from her abdomen she was finally healthy enough to go through heartworm treatment. She did great! We gave her some time to recover and then had her spayed and a hernia repaired. Our girl is now healthy enough to be adopted! She is so happy and easy going. She is kennel trained and house trained as long as she is let out consistently. She loves children and LOVES going for rides in the car. If the car door is left open She is getting in lol She is UTD on vaccines, treated for heartwormd and on prevention, microchipped, and spayed. She currently weighd 65 pounds and she is believed to be between 5-6 years old. She currently lives in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and she does well with everyone. Her only tiny little issue is if you leave food unattended on the counter She will go for it! Other than being a counter surfer she is pretty close to PERFECT. I personally think she is the best dog ever and she deserves the best forever home with all of the love. We are going to include some before pictures so you can see just how far she has come! Macie is currently in Shreveport, LA but we adopt often to the Northeast and transport can easily be arranged.
