Taffy is a 3 year old English bulldog who came to us from our local animal control. Our poor girl was in bad shape. She had a swollen neck full of infection. Our vets did a biopsy and a culture and found put that she had a deep tissue infection that she had obviously had for quite sometime. Our vets believe is was likely caused by a bite wound. After weeks of antibiotics and topical meds the wound has finally healed but Our girl was left with lots of scar tissue and thickening of the neck. It does not bother her and she has been thriving in her foster home. She is great with other dogs and even lives with a house pig and does well with all. She is kennel trained and house trained as long as she is let out. She absolutely LOVES toys! She is kenneled when no one is home. She is really a gem of a dog with just one tiny flaw. She is a chewer! She can not be left unattended as she loves shoes, remotes, and her favorite is glade plug ins. She is spayed, heartworm negative with a proheart 6, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. We will require Taffys adopter to have bulldog experience. She is currently in a foster home here in Shreveport, LA but we adopt often to the Northeast and transport can be arranged.
